Everyone local, and at the main office, has ignored my complaints- in fact, they use your complaints to find more efficient ways of harassing you. It is going on seven years, with very little relief. Nothing has, really, by hotel staff. I will not show any pictures of the toilet, because, before I realized that I had to clean it myself, black growth grew all inside the bowl, and I have determined that it is too gross to put on the internet LOL. Also coming soon – pictures of what hotel staff does with trash and other sights to see at the property. Planning to put it all into an easy to view gallery. Stay on the lookout! My Adventures
This site contains stories about some of my adventures at Extended Stay America. I’ve been at Extended Stay America long enough to understand what is going on, yet I cannot come to definite conclusions because I have no way to confirm what I think, and what the things I see and hear, mean.
You can read what I say, and determine yourself if it is true, and what it means.
What I can confirm is this: I am telling the truth. That is in sharp contrast to “They.”
My purpose: To let people know what you go through to stay at Extended Stay America.
All these things could’ve been cleared up years ago, if not for the games “they” play. If there is anything good I can say about “them,” it is that they are consistent (in the games they play). Everything else, and I mean everything else, is subpar. Don’t understand why the main office ignores me. It gives the impression that they stand behind their cheating employees no matter how insane it is. It gives the impression that the place is run by people who are really angry children at heart.
I have not been able to find any other examples of the kind of behavior they exhibit.
To all readers: Please use the comment sections found at the bottom of each post (except this one) if you have anything to add or subtract from my stories.
Question:
Is it normal for the manager to nix housekeeping, and a few months later come into your room and tell you that you are “filthy?”
Another question, for mature adults:
(This question is not for ‘they,’ having proven repeatedly for years and years that they are not mature adults. Just one of the many ways ‘they’ act.)
Is it normal for the manager, her friends and employees to gather at 2 in the morning, weekly, put their ears against the ceiling in the room below you, and then make catcalls when you walk by, make jokes right in front of you, and tell you that you are “filthy?” That’s just another routine at Extended Stay America. And if you think that is invasion of privacy, I have the rest of the iceberg to reveal in the near future. These people who “work” for Extended Stay America know NO BOUNDS.
How to Start This Off
Because I will be telling some strange stories, I will start this off with an observation. Actually, it’s all observations because I have no tools to prove it all. All I have is what I see and hear. This is one observation in a virtual sea of observations. And… IT’S ALL TRUE!!! That’s right, and I am going to start this off and continue telling stories by observing a company that runs hotels across America, as well as locations in Canada and Mexico. Don’t forget: these people are PROFESSIONALS. I understand there are more than 700 locations not including Marriott.
Why Waste?
If they are wasting natural resources for years when all it would take to curb that are a couple of common repairs, the kinds of repairs that just about any plumber can do, you have to ask, “Why?” Why would they do that? Why would anyone waste resources and make their company pay for it?
It is just stupid to suggest that they would do that on purpose.
By the time you finish reading this site, you might think that I am stupid. I am going to say some things that will make you ask, “Why? Why would they do that?” See, it’s not only natural resources, but they have to deal with the cost of that waste, and who would pay money to waste water on purpose? Four gallons an hour starting before I moved in almost seven years ago. Not to mention the energy wasted around the door- I have to put things around the door to keep the light out.
That’s only two reasons why they wouldn’t waste water. My eyes have never lied to me before. My ears have heard some strange sounds, and I wondered what they were, but in this case I could see AND hear what was happening all at the same time. You can’t miss a bathtub faucet that never stops running. Especially when it’s only a few feet from your head! Again, why would anyone let this happen? Answer: I have no control over it. I’ve asked them to stop, but they say there is nothing going on. They think it will be impossible for people to believe me, even though I’m as honest and frank as I can be.
And that’s not all. These people do these things on company time. At Extended Stay America Reviews, these things I describe are mostly employees on the clock. I tell you what I see and hear, and there is an awful lot of it. Now I’m not an accomplished writer. I am just trying to vent, but there is a lot and it could get boring, but since I started writing this stuff, it has become a little easier to cope. Why you ask, and you must be wondering that at about now. The FAQ explains it, I think. Like I said, “it’s driving me crazy!!!,” and people have experienced my craziness!!! (I admit that I have said one or two things that no one else would say- it happens when you are psychologically tortured).
All the Ways Management at Extended Stay America Bugs Me
Actually, that headline is a little deceiving because I don’t list in this and the following paragraphs “all” the ways management and their employees harass people on their list. In fact, there are so many “ways,” that I couldn’t fit it all into an established review site. And… there is an awful amount of data that would never fit on one of the sites. Not to mention the wealth of data I wrote over the years that I have not even dug into yet- as of November 2023- all pertaining to… Extended Stay America.
I realized that all this material could be seen as a “super review,” and as such, it needs a super amount of space. That is why my review is on its own website as opposed to just another couple of paragraphs on another site created for reviews only. Plus I have some pretty good pics from around the hotel to help show the negligence and incompetence of their trusted employees at Extended Stay America, and there just wouldn’t be an organized way to show them on another review site. Now I have enough room to show people what they can really expect if they decide to stay at Extended Stay America (because I’ve been told everything is routine). I don’t know if they only do this in one country, or all the countries they do business in.
I’m not usually squeamish. If you’ve read this site, you can see that I can put up with a never-ending cycle of negligence and incompetence, and boy let me tell you, the purveyors of those actions do not disappoint.
Extended Stay America and ESA
I must assume that what they do to me, is what they do to everyone, but that’s hard to believe. Just what they do do to me is hard enough to believe, but I’ve made it my duty to report what has actually happened, and I point out the things that could possibly be my own hallucinations of the things happening. I went close to 60 years without mentally-ill instances of hallucinations. Not one. In all those years!- my life!
But then I came to Extended Stay, also known as Extended Stay America and ESA, and it seems like all of a sudden, I started to hallucinate, but only during the tenures of Manager1-T, Manager2-X and Manager5-J. It was rare under the other two managers. Did I say yet that there have been five managers in six and a half years? Manager3-M told me there hadn’t been a manager in a year while Manager2-X was here. Confusing. That’s one of the purposes of lying; although I can’t say he was lying cuz I don’t know, but, this I know: Everything is a trick or a manipulation. Hallucinating is weird enough as it is, but what’s even weirder is that these hallucinations seem to happen only while certain managers were/are in office.
I often use the word, “They.” And I actually have a pretty good description of “they.”
At almost any given time when I’m writing and/or using the website, there is at least one harassment continuing. It seems, to be, the main, “routine.”
