A Hair-Raising Ordeal

Somewhat related to Here, There and Everywhere. And related to The Second Time I Called the Police.

This is about the few times they (an expanded “they”) followed me when I’d make haircut appointments.

Here I Go

Each time I’d get a haircut at a location of a particular hair cutting place, I’d make the appointment online before going. Each time I did that, the person who cut my hair was very, very rude to me. I kept thinking about why are all these ladies so rude? So I had to go to a different location each time, and each time the lady was rude to me. I eventually figured it out, and did not make an appointment, and went to the one location I hadn’t been to yet. The lady was very nice.

But right before that, before I realized what I think was going on, I went to a location after making an appointment online. When I got there, I noticed that there were several well-groomed, well-built men…

NOTE: Now that I’m thinking about “well-built” and “well-groomed” men, I might have the police confused with firemen.

I had seen these same men around the hotel. One of them showed up in the office and put on a show for me. Twice. Those encounters are described hereLINK.

So, at the last time I made an appointment online, and went to that location, those men were there, and they stared at me the whole time. When I got into the chair, the lady started crying. The men came over and stared at me, trapped in the chair with the bib on.

To be perfectly honest, it became a blur. I didn’t want that crying lady to cut my hair, and I left.

As stated, the next time I got a haircut at a brand new location and did not make an appointment in advance. Every single time I’ve gotten a haircut since then, I worry if those men will come back and intimidate me again. This has lasted for years. No matter where I go for a haircut. I believe these men, who’d hang out at the hotel so often, were friends of management. They were all over the place until after Manager2-X finished her time of harassing.
