You would think that if you were a horrible “guest,” you’d be treated horribly. But that’s not the case. I am an absolutely fantastic tenant. I don’t make noise, I keep to myself, I pay on time, I don’t ask for much, but asking for housekeeping is WAY OVER THE LINE HERE.

If you ask for housekeeping, be ready for them to answer you in an aggravated voice. Like so many other things, they have no patience for a “guest” like me. Just in the past few weeks I’ve asked for housekeeping after not receiving any that was worthy for years. Guess what? Boy does the manager and at least one other front desk clerk make audible the anger in their voices? Yes! That’s a statement.

Like I’ve said before, they don’t show up on the chosen day.

They don’t show up on the off day from your chosen day.

They will tell you Friday, and on Friday they tell you, in angry voice, Monday. I said, “It’s been years, wouldn’t that make it important?”

If they don’t show up this time, I will post the results from either the Consumer Protection Agency, or the Health Department, whichever is the proper one and says they can come the soonest. But, but, but I am a patient person, as I’ve proved all along the past seven years. I’ll prove it further by waiting a few more days, just in case they have decided to do what they are required to do and clean the room on Thursday.
