Another Bonfire

You know, I can’t remember every single lie. But I can list some of the outstanding ones.
They had created an harassment that was frankly, too damn good. They would go into the room above mine, and do some kind of banging or stomping. I could not figure out how they made those sounds. It was horrible. I thought maybe they had enlisted a dancer who could make certain moves, but actually, when I found out who the main culprit was, I realized that theory to be ridiculous.
This stomping and banging was the most effective one I think. At least when it came to noise and DRIVING ME INSANE!
I had endured it for days and days and days. So…
I called the office. They had the phone so that all it would do was make an alarm sound instead of ringing. It was a common practice done to my phone. I have no way of knowing if they cut my line only, or if it was practiced on other guests. The “emergency” phone outside of the office got the same treatment.
NOTE: If there was something like hot water not working, they would cut the phone line. I assumed that they knew about it, and didn’t want to let any of the guests report it so the guest could feel like it is being worked on. So they would ignore guests when reporting things like that. The guest would have to go to the office, and usually, there’s a sign that says, “Back in 30 minutes.” And of course no indication about when the 30 minutes started.
So I went to the office one night, and the sweet lady there was AsstManager1-J. I told her that the people above me were stomping or banging on the floor, and would you please ask them to stop. She sweetly said, “Yes.”
I ENDURED THAT FOR ANOTHER WEEK! AND ENTIRE WEEK ALMOST CONSTANTLY. FOR A WEEK! NIGHT AND DAY! DAY AND NIGHT!
It crossed my eyes and turned me into a blabbering, wild-eyed nut.
After a week of no phone and nonstop harassing, I stumbled back to the office. The same AsstManager1-J was there. I was in a daze. I could not walk straight. She was so nice and kind, as per usual. She actually became a little, tiny bit confrontational after I wrote the reviewLINK that I sent to 20 other managers around the country who mostly ignored everything I reported.
I asked her if she called the above party last week when I came in and asked her to do something about it. She answered, “Yes!” Her eyes immediately shot downward towards the floor.
I left the office. When I got to my room it had stopped. After A WHOLE WEEK! But that was not the end of it. Oh man, read this, The Second Time I Called the Police.
